The ‘Hackit’ from Norway has sold over 1 Million pieces there – and it only has a population of 4.5 Million people – which means every home now owns at least one Hackit!
This cleverly Scandinavian-designed Kitchen Hand Tool is used to quickly and easily break up mincemeat in a frying pan – plus it efficiently chops, mashes, crunches and mixes lots of other foods such as potatoes, vegetables, fruit, berries and biscuits.
The Hackit’s creator is Norwegian, Michelin Star, Celebrity TV Chef, Erling Sundal and he proudly says, “Even for a Cooking Professional, the Hackit is a very useful tool. It’s one of those products that you don’t realize how much you needed it until you try it! We recently launched in Australia too and again it has proved tremendously popular selling over 50,000 Hackits in the first four months. Now we are taking the Hackit to the World and we are confident that the UK will become one of our biggest markets”.
The Hackit is available in a variety of colours, is Food Safety Tested, can withstand heat of up to 210 Degrees Centigrade, is simply cleaned by rinsing under water or in a dishwasher and is made in Norway.
The first UK Retailer to recognize the many benefits of the Hackit and therefore jumped at the opportunity to make it available to its discernable customers is none other than trusted Kitchen & Cookware Specialist – Lakeland. The Hackit will be sold across Lakeland Stores nationally from August.
The Hackit is distributed in the UK by 2tech Ltd who will introduce this highly successful Nordic brand to the British Retail Industry at Exclusively Housewares Show. 2tech Ltd source, import and distribute solutions-based Home Wares to the UK Retail Industry and will be introducing Hackit’s range of kitchen gadgets to the UK this June.
